How can I keep track of the event venues and vendors I'm considering?
To keep track of venues and vendors you can use our Bookmarks feature. To use this feature, you'll need to Sign-up for a visitor account so we can remember your Bookmarks for you. When you vist our site again, simply login and you'll have access to all your bookmarks from your previous visit.
 
To Bookmark an individual Venue or Vendor, go the their page and click on the "Bookmark" link in the right-hand menu. Once you have a set of bookmarks, you can use them to request information, email friends, and compare vendors side-by-side.
 
 
I have forgotten my email address and password. How do I retrieve account access?
If you have forgotten your password only, there is a Forgotten Password link on the Member Login page, accessed by going to the home page, then clicking on Login/Sign Up. Click on the forgot your password link to have you password emailed to you.

How can I add my company to your site?
If you represent an event venue or vendor company you may submit it to be listed on the GatheringGuide. Be sure to provide a complete set of details so we can effectively evaluate your company. To submit a profile follow these steps:

Click on Login/Sign up on the home page, enter your email address and password in the New Member Sign up fields, and click on Sign-Up. Then click on Submit Your Company. Go directly to Step 2: Submit Your Profile Information. Choose the category that best defines your services and click on the link; for example, a hotel would click on Event Venues. Completely fill in the information required on the Service Profile Page and click on Submit Service and Begin Creating Service Profile. Please complete all the fields of your profile, or it may not be approved.

How do I upgrade my account to Gold Membership?
To get your company more customer referrals and to convert more of those contacts into paying customers, upgrades are available that include:
  • Direct link to website and email address
  • Priority placement on search results page
  • Live access to an account manager for profile assistance and performance statistics
  • Featured listing on search results page
  • The ability to list services in more than one category
  • Extended search radius

I have forgotten my email address and password. How do I retrieve account access?

How do I edit my profile or change my contact information?
Login as a Returning Member using the email address and password assigned to your account. Click on Vendor Home, and then click on the name of your profile in green. This will take you to your account page where you can update your contact information and/or edit your profile.
 
 
I was not the person who originally set up this account. How do I gain access to my profile?
If you are not the person who set up the original profile and do not know the account manager email address or password and wish to gain access, you may contact us at accounts@gatheringguide.com to request account manger access. If you wish to change the account manager email address and password, please call us at 510-868-6308 ext.5.
 
 
What if I do not want my street address listed on my profile?
In the street address field, simply type in "Street Address Withheld." Your city and zip code are required.
 
 
Why is my profile not showing up when I search for it on GatheringGuide.com?
One of the most common reasons is that your zip code does not match the city you have listed your profile in.
