BLOOM is the new name of Masterpiece Flowers. Having been in Cahaba Heights for 14 years, Jon purchased the site in Homewood in 2002 and developed his dream flower shop. "Flowers are my passion and I feel I have answered my calling from God, to help those celebrating joyous times and also to comfort those in difficult times with the gift of nature." "The new store in Homewood is a dream come true," he says, " I really do feel like we are Blooming."
Jon's floral work has been featured in Southern Living, Southern Accents, and Southern Lady, has won national and international shows, and is retained by many Birmingham corporations and institutions for special events. A master designer and gardener, Jon's garden was featured in the Botanical garden's 2002 "Glorious Garden Tour". Jon's approach to design integrates the disciplines of Horticulture and Interior/ Garden Design to create innovative, breathtaking events and everyday floral gifts.
