Melissa A. Panico has been an event planner in the Bay Area for the past ten years. The first five of those years were spent as the on-site coordinator / catering sales and event designer, at the Legion of Honor Museum, in San Francisco. For the past five years, she has developed her own event planning company, MAP Events. Her growing business has been based solely on “word of mouth” referral from past clients and reputable vendors. Concurrently, she works with wedding & private clients, select corporations, and two national non-profit organizations.
Melissa’s philosophy, with regard to weddings & events, is to understand the atmosphere that the client wants to create, and find unique & stylish ways to personalize the celebration. She works with exceptional vendors and hires experienced assistants. She takes a professional, yet fun, approach to event planning, and establishes close working relationships with her clients.
