Rabbi Jay has officiated at weddings throughout the United States and the world, for couples of every background. Whether Ashkenazik, Sephardic, Persian, Israeli, Russian, Traditional, et al, he provides just the right ceremony, custom-tailored for each couples needs and desires. Rabbi Jay teaches the popular "Making Marriage Work" course at the American Jewish University in Los Angeles, and has helped hundreds of couples prepare for their weddings. Through meetings and written work, he gets to know the couples as individuals and they get to know him. He is active as a counselor as well as officiant and helps to smooth out any bumps in the road that might occur during those often tension-filled weeks before the special day.

My fee is determined after a free consultation. But fees do vary according to the circumstances and requirements of the individual couple. I do whatever is right for you, and I perform the ceremony at the location of your choice. If I am required to travel a distance or incur overnight lodging, of course the fee is greater. |

Rabbi Jay Levy earned his B.A., cum laude, from Queens College, and then went on to earn his J.D. degree from the New York University School of Law. He received his Rabbinical Ordination from the Rabbinical Academy in New York. He is rabbi of Temple Or Emet.
