As the daughter of New York City photojournalist Mel Finkelstein (shown below, with Kim Novak) my earliest reflections involve chasing police radio calls, and watching my father, camera in hand capture the life and history of the times. His camera was always at his side. As a result, my sisters and I grew up viewing life through the camera lens.
