Award- winning international photographer Nicole Held Mayo - owner of Alohaphotodesign is based on the Island of Kauai, Hawaii. She has studied photography in Europe and USA and graduated with a degree in photography and graphic design. Her portfolio ranges from architecture/real estate, virtual tours, commercial, lifestyle/art, people and wedding photography on Kauai/Hawaii.

One of the important factors while shooting is the ability to tell a visual story from start to end capturing relationships and personalities of people at a wedding. I am unobstrusive and responsive to my surroundings but yet I capture spontaneous moments as they occur each second.
I have studied in Germany and San Diego and graduated with a degree in photography and graphic design. I've lived in Hawaii for the past 6 years.
The medium of photography allows me to tell the story of special moments in time. The union of two people in love and capturing a growing family are one of my favorites and my specialty.
I usually shoot outdoors. Being in Hawaii, nature provides the most glorious studio one could ever imagine.
