Hawaiianpix Photography is the evolution of a 24 year commitment to the art of photography. "I feel fortunate, I have always known that I wanted to be a professional photographer." Starting at the age of 14, Jerry studied photography, "I learned by shooting and reading every chance I got." After graduating from a Vocational School for Photography, he attended Rochester Institute of Technology, earning a degree in Photographic Science. Today he and his family own and operate Hawaiianpix Photography. "I love the fact that my wife and now my kids are helping with the business, it kind of brings purpose to the whole journey. My oldest daughter will be 14 this year, I kinda feel like I've come full circle when I see her taking her time to compose a shot or marvel at an image in a magazine." Hawaiianpix is based in Hawaii and is a proud member of the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau. Jerry also teaches at the University Of Hawaii's Pacific New Media Center and is an online photographic columnist for AOL Time Warner's Oceanic Cable Leisure section.
