The Cooling Station began as an ice cream parlor in 2004. It later on expanded to producing its own gourmet popcorn as well as hosting children's entertainment parties.

Also known as the "ice cream place & popcorn place in Highwood," the Cooling Station has become a favorite dessert destination for families, friends and business co-workers in the northshore area.

The Cooling Station is a family owned business. It was formed in remembrance of my parents who enjoyed eating good quality ice cream. Ice cream was a treat for us specially when we excelled at something we did.

Product quality, friendly customer service and a clean store atmosphere are our major concern when customers come and visit the Cooling Station.

Through word of mouth, our ice cream and popcorn place has tremendously grown. We have visitors come in from out of town just to see the place and to try our shake, cookies & cream popcorn or ice cream sundae.
