Floral Verdé was founded June 2006 by Janet Martineau to provide a unique model of floral design services to Michigan brides. The driving principle behind Floral Verdé is the belief that the combination of good design and the luxury of flowers should be affordable. Upon meeting with us, you’ll notice that affordable pricing, along with unlimited personal attention, and excellence in design are the characteristics that separate us from the competition.
Initial consultations run approximately 1 to 2 hours. We will discuss your vision, venues, colors, themes, and budget. It is extremely helpful to bring along swatches of the dresses and photos of your venues, as well as any magazine clippings of flowers that have caught your eye. These items make for a more productive consultation and accurate price quote.
Within a week of our meeting we will provide you with a detailed quote, itemized down to the stem, of how many flowers will be in each arrangement. To help you better visualize your wedding decor, we also include a page with images of each flower and linen specified in the quote.
The great service doesn’t end with the initial meeting. Once you hire us you will receive unlimited personal attention through the day of your wedding. If you have any questions or changes during the process, we make ourselves available to you by phone, email, or subsequent in- person consultations. Also, we will revise your quote an unlimited number of times, until you feel comfortable with what you’re paying for.
Our first priority is to provide wedding flowers that express your personal sense of style, and with a degree from one of the nation’s top design schools and a passion for flowers, we have the knowledge and the talent to do just that. We commit to only a handful of weddings per week, so that each couple receives our full attention.
