Green Ink was formed in 2006 by Tara Green. Tara Green attended Academy of Art College in San Francisco, California and designed custom wedding invitations while attending college. Upon completion of school, Tara moved from the Bay Area to Portland, Orgeon. Tara worked as a graphic designer/ assistant art director for Fred Meyer for a around six years designing their weekly home ads. In addition, she also helped brand the new Kroger Marketplace stores, by leading the design team for their weekly advertisements.
On the side, Tara was still designing custom birth announcements, invitations and stationery and decided to open up shop, living her life-long goal of owning a business doing something she loves.
