I am a wedding and event photographer based in the Greater Richmond area of Virginia and service the Mid-Atlantic region. I offer a variety of packages to deliver exactly what you need.
Photography has been my passion since I was 13 years old. I spent most of my high school career photographing bands within the Richmond, VA scene. I went on to get my BFA in photography from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts, where I graduated cum laude. After graduation in 2006 I moved to Philadelphia and opened Crystal Neilson Photography but after a year of missing my family I quickly moved back to Virginia. I purchased a farm in Goochland, VA and since then my business has flourished.

I have a journalistic feel to my work and the only time I ask people to pose is during the formal shots (which I do as many or as few as the couple wants). I do my best to not interrupt or interfere with events of the wedding. In 2008, I added a second photographer to the company to cover the event even better than before. |
