Working with a bride, I create a design for a dress that will help her to look her best while still looking like herself. I make a muslin mock-up of the gown before cutting into the silk, giving the bride a chance to see the style on her body and allowing me to fine tune the design, adjusting the neckline, trim placement, etc to flatter her the most. Only after the bride is satisfied do I cut into the actual fabric of the gown.
