Carriage Square offers the southern charm of the 1925 plantation-style Solomon House, Victorian Gardens, and an 1895 Victorian Bed & Breakfast for your next event.
Both homes are on the National Historic Registry and appointed with period pieces, lending grace and warmth to your event. The first floor of the Solomon House and its small adjoining garden can be rented for small or large events up to 150 guests. The home also offers a catering kitchen available to your caterer, complete with warmers and an ice machine. A large hundred year-old magnolia tree graces the landscaped property.
The Bed & Breakfast offers 7 standard guest rooms and a Honeymoon Suite. A full, gourmet breakfast and an afternoon complimentary glass of wine are included, as are the use of the home's two parlors and screened in porch. Altogether, the Bed & Breakfast can accommodate 20 guests.
The Victorian Gardens can accommodate up to 300 people and can be used in conjunction with the Solomon House for large events. The garden is equipped with fully-operational restrooms, a large gazebo and a bricked main stage covered by a wisteria laced pergola against a latticed backdrop. Pathways with benches and antique streetlamps meander along the outer edges of the garden with a large, central open area opening before the stage and the gazebo.
