Drew Bennett is a masterful and talented Native American flutist (Lakota Heritage) of over 16 years and is proficiently trained on Flamenco and folk guitar of over 26 years.
With the national retail release of his first Native American flute record, "Tribal Awakening" in 2005, Drew is very pleased with the album. Drew combines the traditional sounds of Native American flute with native drums, shakers, rattlers, rain sticks, quartz meditation bowls, bells, rain, percussion, bongos, sounds from nature (Grandmother earth), thunder storms, and other exotic percussion instruments with the intent to capture a passionate and powerful representation of the Native American Flute as the
main (solo) instrument.
His music and presence impress and delight listeners wherever he goes, and is a refreshing addittion to any Southwestern themed event to help capture the feel of the southwest and the magic it has to offer.
