I studied photography at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, California, and spent many days in the darkroom, processing my film and printing my photographs. Then digital photography arrived on the scene! It took a few years for me to move over to digital, but once I did, I never looked back and have been digitally photographing pets, events, and people for over 7 years now.

A photographer brings his or her life’s experiences with them as they capture the nuances of their subjects in a meaningful way. My experience with and my love of animals gives me a special understanding and skill in the area of pet photography. In 1990 I became a registered veterinary technician and still am to this day.
