The historic brick kiln site is an acre of terraced gardens with a restored 1870s bunkhouse -farmhouse. The cottage has two rooms used for exhibition galleries, receptions or meetings. There is space for catering services.
The country garden pathways connect the four activity levels: the lawn, central brick terrace, the ellipse and the belvedere. Features of the landscaping include seasonal effects, rose arbor, colorful floral beds, heritage trees, pagoda birdhouse (a Victorian garden folly) and 1890 fire- school bell now rung for celebrations. The redwoods shelter is a retreat. Throughout are benches, each with its special view of the bay and mountain.

For weddings, 50% of the rental fee is required to reserve your date. The rental fee is $1,500, which includes 3 hours (maximum) on the day of the event for wedding photography, setup and ceremony time. Any time over 3 hours runs $300/hour extra. A refundable security deposit of $500 is required; additional insurance is strongly recommended. One half of hte rental fee is due at the time of booking. The remaining fees are due 60 days prior to the event. Fees for other types of events and photo/movie shoots are negotiable. We ask that you join Landmarks as a member and your rental fee will be tax deductible.

Maximum occupancy: cottage: 55, cottage & garden 200.
Suitable for weddings, receptions, reunions, corporate meetings, celebrations of all occasions, all year. The central terrace may be canopied.
Parking permits provided for 14 vehicles including one handicap space. Off street parking with shuttle service must be prearranged.
Reservations may be made for cottage with limited access to garden or for use of both cottage and entire garden space.
