All that glitters is 22K gold highlighting thirty- six Victorian patterns. The cut- glass floral windowpanes, walnut woodwork and oak floor distinguish the 19th century reception room. The brass and crystal chandeliers are electric replicas of the oil- burning fixtures of the period.
The Social Saloon of the S.S. China Cabin was salvaged from the top deck of the 1866 side- wheel, transpacific steamer when it was burned for scrap metal in 1886 in Tiburon. The cabin, 20' x 40', was barged to Belvedere Cove to become part of a private residence for ninety years. In 1978 it was restored as a national maritime monument for use again as a social saloon.

For weddings, 50% of the rental fee is required to reserve your date. The rental fee is $1,500, which includes 3 hours (maximum) on the day of the event for wedding photography, setup and ceremony time. Any time over 3 hours runs $300/hour extra. A refundable security deposit of $500 is required; additional insurance is strongly recommended. One half of hte rental fee is due at the time of booking. The remaining fees are due 60 days prior to the event. Fees for other types of events and photo/movie shoots are negotiable. We ask that you join Landmarks as a member and your rental fee will be tax deductible.

Maximum occupancy: 55 or 65 when deck is usable.
Suitable for small wedding and reception combined, luncheons, dinners, anniversary parties, memorial services or meetings.
Parking permits are available when restrictions apply.
No smoking, candles nor inflammables.
Floral decorations are appropriate. Historic flags or banners may be flown.
