The Hamilton Ballroom's Art Deco Lobby is glamour at its very best, ready to transport you to the glittering era of The Great Gatsby or a 1930’s musical extravaganza. This magnificent space has won awards for its painstaking restoration in 2007 by a San Francisco architect who designed much of what sets this space apart; from the new fireplace to the eleven one- of- a- kind handcrafted bronze and etched glass Art Deco chandeliers.
22' floor to ceiling windows and doors invite you in from O’Farrell Street. Decorative plaster walls, gold and silver accented fluted columns and original ornamental Art Deco metal panels lead you back to the impressive glass doors that lead to the Fountain Courtyard in the rear. The lobby is 1,236 sq. ft. and furnished with a grand piano and leather club chairs. There are restored bathrooms conveniently located nearby.
The Grand Ballroom, restored to its original glory, is complete with a hardwood dance floor and 11 foot doors and windows looking to the Fountain Courtyard. It accommodates up to 140 people and is 1,330 sq. ft. The adjacent caterer- staging kitchen has upgraded electrical service, stainless tables, refrigerator/ freezer, warming/ baking oven, microwave and staff restroom.
The Fountain Courtyard is a serene secluded oasis in the middle of the city. Secluded from wind, yet open to sunshine, it is 2,788 sq. ft. and can be accessed from both the Lobby and the Grand Ballroom making it easy to utilize all 3 spaces for an event.
Available on a case by case basis is the 16th Floor Sun Deck. Sophisticated design and stylish furnishings compete with the stunning 180 degree view, making this a great spot for photo shoots.
The Conference Facility, located on the 2nd floor, possesses much original detailing and is a quiet, easily accessed, light- filled space, perfect for small groups.
