The Long Beach Museum of Art is one of the most popular rental facilities on the southern California coastline. Overlooking Long Beach Harbor and the Pacific Ocean, the Museum's grounds include the beautifully restored Elizabeth Milbank Anderson mansion and carriage house - an historic landmark - and a newly constructed exhibition pavilion with two-story atrium and oceanview gallery.
A lovely garden with a sweeping view is nestled between the historic mansion and the new two-story exhibition pavilion. The garden accommodates up to 350 guests for a seated function. Your guests can enjoy the view from the lawn or from the patio surrounding the Claire Falkenstein fountain. The garden can also be tented.
An elegant gallery space located on the second floor of the new exhibition pavilion, the Lane Oceanview Gallery contains approximately 300 s.f. with a 100 s.f. balcony. Your guests enjoy a stunning view from this room which features hardwood floors and California landscape paintings from the Museum's prized permanent collection. This is an extraordinary room for dinners, meetings, and receptions, offering seating for up to 70 guests. Fully equipped with AV capabilities, the gallery also includes a hostess kitchen.
Located on the ground floor of the historic 1912 Elizabeth Milbank Anderson House, the Museum Café is about 600 s.f. Surrounded by mahogany paneled walls, fireplaces and picture windows, the Café, which seats 50 guests, is perfect for intimate events and pre-function receptions.
