The Long Beach Museum of Art is one of the most popular rental facilities on the southern California coastline. Overlooking Long Beach Harbor and the Pacific Ocean, the Museum's grounds include the beautifully restored Elizabeth Milbank Anderson mansion and carriage house - a historic landmark - and a newly constructed exhibition pavilion with two-story atrium and ocean view gallery.
Located on the ground floor of the historic 1912 Elizabeth Milbank Anderson House, is the Museum Café, "Claire's at the Museum." The restaurant provides lovely indoor and outdoor patio seating, surrounding the stunning water sculpture by Claire Falkenstein "Structure and Flow". The Anderson house is surrounded by mahogany paneled walls, fireplaces and picturesque windows, and can seat up to 100 guests. This space is perfect for intimate events such as baby showers, bridal showers, and private parties of any kind as well as pre-function receptions.
A lovely garden with sweeping views of Catalina island and beyond is nestled between the historic mansion and the new two-story exhibition pavilion. The garden accommodates up to 300 guests for a seated function and the area can also be tented. Please contact us for restaurant and special events information and reservations.
