From inspired weddings to unforgettable corporate gatherings and magical parties, event designer Alicia Falango has been creating one- of -a -kind experiences for nearly a decade. Intimately involved in every aspect of event design, coordination and execution, Alicia and the AK Design team work side -by- side with clients to ensure that each event reflects the vision, charm and personality of its hosts.
The daughter of a floral arranger and caterer, Alicia inherited her mother’s passion for crafting idyllic functions. Following this early inspiration, Alicia began honing her skills, helping to plan and coordinate nearly two hundred private and corporate events. In addition, Alicia apprenticed with master bridal consultant and renowned event industry expert, Sasha Souza. She combined these experiences with the insight gained from her extensive travels to such diverse locations as Europe, the South Pacific, Southeast Asia and the Middle East to found her own event planning and design company in 2001.
Known for its sophisticated yet youthful style, stunning floral arrangements and intimate, contemporary settings, AK Designs has quickly established itself as one of the most engaging and original event design companies. A respected member of the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC), Alicia strives to make planning an event a rich and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
Treating her clients as friends and partners in the creative process, she works with customers, drawing on the little things— a song, a place, a memory— for inspiration. Whether organizing a sumptuous wedding or an exotic New Year’s Eve gala, Alicia’s warmth, playful creativity and meticulous organizational skills will deliver a once- in- a- lifetime affair that will linger in your memory.
