Documentary style photography encourages people to live their lives, not interrupt them with artificial poses. With over fifteen years of professional photographic experience, my presence will be lightly felt, but my images will do more than restore your memories—they will magnify the wonder of your event.
I shoot film with the world’s finest optical glass made by Leica, and digitally with cutting edge equipment. My post-production is meticulous and labor-intensive, and includes color and tone correction to make sure you’re looking your best. In my studio, I print gallery quality images and hand craft a variety of albums.
I pay all my own travel expenses, including accommodation, and an on-site orientation meeting early in your planning process. I accept a limited number of engagements each year. References available.
If you’re looking for a distinctive way of having your guests photographed, consider photo booth. Photo booth is a portable portrait studio - small enough to fit into my car, large enough to capture your event.
At your location, I set up a large backdrop, several lights, and my camera. Then guests are welcome to stop by and be photographed for the duration of the event. From formal portraits to playful voguing, Photo Booth is an inviting, memorable, and effective way to document the people at your wedding or special event. The results of the shoot form a catalog of all who attended, and reflect not just what they wore and who they spent time with, interesting enough in themselves, but also on the spirit of the occasion.
