Weddings
================
To photographically record the hundreds of separate special moments that occur on your wedding day, I'll use a blend of photojournalistic, documentary, fashion, and editorial styles. When you're getting ready, during the ceremony, and at your reception, I typically use photojournalistic and editorial styles that yield candid photographs meant to closely and accurately highlight the story of your day.
For your family portraits, I'll take a more active role, ensuring that photographs with friends and family members are captured quickly and with a sense of spontaneity and emotional connection. Finally, during the time you've set aside for your creative wedding photographs, I'll minimize typical traditional posing and instead suggest interactions that will provide a wonderfully candid feel while showcasing the true nature of your relationship with your fiancé. In essence, during this part of your wedding day, we'll work to create romantic, fun, and fashion forward photographs that present you, your fiancé, and your wedding party in the best possible light.
My Artistic Style

In my photography, I strive for uncluttered compositions where my subjects are casually isolated from distracting surroundings. But instead of adhering to a truly minimalist approach, I work to create a sense of openness through my framing and selective areas of focus.
As a result, viewers often see my photography as clean, natural, and contemporary. I warmly embrace those labels. My greatest joy is when I'm behind my camera. I gain great satisfaction from the seeing, the doing, and most especially the sharing- my photographs of people, nature, and life.

My professional lenses include the Nikon 12-24mm f/4, 17-35mm f/2.8, 28-70mm f/2.8, 70-200mm f/2.8, 200-400mm f/4, 85mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.8, and 105mm f/2.8 macro, and 1.4x and 2x teleconverters. |
