Most recently, in 2005, The Festivities reputation for excellence in both the event design and culinary fields earned Festivities the highest distinction as “Best Of The Gold Coast." It earned selection to be the exclusive caterer and event planner at The Meadowlands at The Darien Community Center in Darien, Connecticut.

Festivities’s culinary philosophy takes familiar foods and gives them stylish appeal through buffets, formally plated dinners, at- home cocktail buffets and cocktail parties. Using only the freshest and finest ingredients, Festivities's repertoire is original, versatile and multicultural.
The culinary and creative teams at Festivities are led by Executive Chef William Kaliff. Chef Kaliff’s talents for creating exciting dining experiences are renowned. Menu compositions are influenced by his artistic eye for color and texture. Event themes and “story boards” are developed from extensive design resources and a taste refined by time and experience. For these reasons, Chef Kaliff was selected by “Bon Appetit” magazine as one of leading chefs of the nation.
Rosinne Chlala is Chef Kaliff’s sister and business partner. Roe works closely with each client on the logistical details of their special event. Gracious hospitality and elegant service are the result of care and personal attention Roe gives to each client. As regional coordinator of “The Association of Bridal Consultants,” Roe is kept current of market and fashion trends. The combination of her professional expertise as an event planner and strong interpersonal skills make her the ideal choice as wedding coordinator and bridal consultant not only to the bride and groom, but also to the families involved.
