Central, open space ideal for receptions, announcements and pre-assembly activities. The centerpiece of the Lobby is the globe from the original Pan American World Airways Seaplane base at Dinner Key in Coconut Grove, now home to Miami City Hall. Access to this space is from a large, covered porte-cochere under the painting "On the Shoulders of Giants."
Uses:
Provides an excellent backdrop for business and social receptions, often used by groups before going into an Theater program, the Museum Galleries or a sit-down dinner in the Space Gallery. Portable, temporary bars and food stations can be set up or refreshments can be passed.
