Brumby Hall & Gardens

Brumby Hall offers a historic and romantic site for weddings, receptions and parties. Built in 1851 by Colonel Arnoldus VanderHorst Brumby as his personal dwelling, the antebellum home is a prime example of the raised Greek Revival cottage.

Brumby Hall was restored to its original condition in 1925 and the elaborate gardens were designed in 1930 by Hubert Bond Owens of the University of Georgia School of Landscape Architecture. The home was sold to the City of Marietta in 1995 and is gracefully decorated with period antiques and artwork typical of an affluent family of the 19th century.
