Welcome to Pinehurst Tea Room. This beautifully restored Victorian house is an elegant location for your wedding, reception, bridal luncheon, rehearsal dinner, cocktail party or any special occasion.
The Victorian style house is known to have been deeded to a descendant of Robert E. Lee in 1913. Charles and Lynda Dubbs, who have been in the catering business since 1979, purchased the home in 1995. The house was in such poor condition, that they immediately began an 18 month restoration of the home. They tried to retain as much of the original Victorian structure that they possibly could. In keeping with that intent, they furnished the house with with graceful period antiques, beautiful chandeliers, original artwork, and lavish decorations. A 2,100 Sq. Ft. Ballroom has just been added with a dance floor which gives this location room for 300 to 350 people inside the house.
In addition this location offers over 3 acres of beautifully landscaped grownds with a wrap-around veranda connecting to a shady, spacious deck which connects to a large patio-walkway which has a four-tier fountain shaded by majestic Pecan and Black Walnut trees. The pinnacle of the yard is an 18 ft Greek Revival Wedding Pavilion with a hand-crafted wrought iron filigree dome, and etched pathway leading back to the patio.
Pinehurst has become one of Henry County's premier event facility's for weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons, and corporate seminars and meetings. With over 25 years catering experience there is no detail they cannot handle.
