The Farmhouse was built in the 1890's by the Adam's family in Columbus, Georgia. Originally located on Veteran's Parkway, it was relocated to its current address on Weems Road. Five openly connected rooms provide great flow and allow your guests to be together in a private setting. The house has fully covered front and back porches. The back porch overlooks a large brick patio. Paths lead to the garden, herb garden and down to the lawn. Brides can prepare for the festivities in our Bridal room. Our facility comfortably holds 100 people inside and 250 inside/outside. There are 3 indoor restrooms plus 2 outdoor restrooms.
Included with our affordable rental rates are 12(6x30.5in.) tables and 80 chairs. We are equipped with a full caterer's kitchen, including: Double oven, bread warmer, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer(large enough for a tall cake if needed), microwave, an island and lots of counter space for your caterer.
Facility rental at the Columbus Botanical Garden helps support our educational programs.
Our mission is "to preserve a portion of the rapidly diminishing open space in Columbus and to provide the public with a unique educational facility that is based on environmental awareness, horticulture, historic preservation and agricultural values. This facility shall strive to inspire and leave a lasting impression on those who visit."
