When you book your event at the Altoona Hy-Vee Club Room, you can get the room for free! Spend only $125 on catering your room rental is free for up to six hours; spend $200, and the room is free for up to 8 hours.
The Club Room is a great location for meetings, seminars, birthday parties, baby/bridal showers,open houses,family gatherings, sports team dinners or awards banquets, or classes/demonstrations in conjunction with one of our departments or registered dietitian.
The Club Room has a capacity of 81, but works great for open houses of up to 100 people. Rental includes 12, 6-foot tables; chairs; whiteboard and dry erase markers and refrigerator. A TV/DVD player and projector are also available for rent, along with seasonal centerpieces, china, linens and other seasonal decor.
All food and beverage must be purchased through the Altoona Hy-Vee, but we are able to accommodate just about any food or beverage request. Whether your looking for a full, sit-down meal; appetizers and wine sampling; or just some cake and punch, we have you covered. With a Bakery, Delicatessan, Chinese Express, Italian Express and locally-famous Kitchen, your food will be freshly made and delivered right upstairs. We also have a wonderful floral department that can provide balloons, flowers, centerpieces and other decor.
Our store offers free Wi-Fi, and there are ethernet hook-ups in the Club Room as well. We have a copy machine, fax machine and photo processing as well that can all be used during your meetings. You also enjoy the convenience of having a full-service grocery store right underneath you for any last minute items or emergencies. the location is convenient and easy to find.

The Club Room does not have a staff other than the Club Room Coordinator. Therefore food/drinks are self-serve unless special arrangements are made. Set-up is provided. Decorating done by renter must be removed by renter. All trash must be thrown away, and any messes cleaned up. |

All food and beverage must come from the Altoona Hy-Vee, and ordered through the Club Room Coordinator.
At this point in time alcohol is not allowed in the Club Room, other than for sampling.

There is a $50 deposit payable by cash or credit that is required to secure the date. This deposit is fully refundable or may be applied to the balance of your final bill, pending no contract violations or cancellations of less than seven days.
