As a duo performance, we bring our pre- recorded rhythm (piano, bass, guitar, drums), and perform the lead instruments (vocals, piano, sax, flute, trumpet) live. For your information, the pre- recorded tracks were performed by my band and arranged & mixed by my partner, who will accompany me. In my opinion, the quality of this performance is equal to our 5- piece live band, but without the added expense.
We have done many of these performances for corporate and private events with a great deal of success. The sound quality is warm and vibrant and very appropriate for any size crowd. The performance is a mixture of vocals and pure instrumentals. Our repertoire consists mainly of music of the Golden Era (Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Johnny Mercer, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, and Peggy Lee, just to name a few). Our performance is smooth and polished.
In addition, unlike many other musicians, we provide our own P.A. and lighting (if not provided by the venue) at no additional charge.
