Historic Taylor Barn, built in 1879, is now open for your event. Our farm is historically significant and country romantic. Everything from Barn weddings, outdoor receptions, family reunions, corporate events and picnics, swimming in the stock tank by moon light. You have a dream of time past, we will help you make it happen.
Taylor Barn accommodates up to 100 guests and your event can spill over on to our farm and into the lawn of our beautiful farm house. We provide the following services; decorating including pipe and draping, transportation to and from the airport, full catering referral, set-up before and clean-up after your even, tent rental for receptions or dinning in the yard, beautiful pillared porch available including vintage rocking chairs, use of our vintage home for the wedding party or special guests, hay rides, use of the stock tank for swims, parking attendants for every event, rehearsal dinner in the barn or on the lawn, photo opportunities are many and diverse with a century old theme.
Easily accessible from I-70. 10 minutes from shopping fantastic downtown Lawrence and the beautiful Kansas University campus.
