Born in Albuquerque , New Mexico in the year 1983 David L. Bonilla Jr. (Aka Lex) at the age of 13, began his appreciation for music. He started off by rhyming to old school, hip hop, as well as music that surrounded him by his older brothers.
Lex continued this until his skills got to a point where his control was without thought. At age 16 he wrote his first song. He knew then that music is all he wanted to do.
At age 18 he began to "Battle" in the streets and soon thereafter in clubs. Racking up win after win. Performing at hotspots allover town such as, Neds, Club Hilton, as well as many other local venues throughout the state.
