From the moment you enter the grand hall and are greeted by larger than life statues of Aphrodite and Eros, the Greek deities of love, you’ll realize that fantasies can come true. The Greek Revival Mansion boasts eleven massive Corinthian columns supporting an enormous verandah, making Magnolia Mansion one of the most photographed architectural treasures in New Orleans. Massive live oaks frame the mansion and its beautifully landscaped and immense courtyard.
Whether your wedding party is intimate or large, our courtyard makes a memorable and romantic setting. For wedding parties of 40 people or less, or perhaps an elopement, the mansion’s grand hallway makes a dramatic entrance for every bride. Our red hallway symbolizes love and passion and is especially perfect for a Valentine’s Day or Christmas wedding.
For receptions of up to 350, the mansion and verandah provide the perfect ambiance for celebrating. A complimentary honeymoon suite is provided the night of the wedding and/or reception in the mansion or courtyard.
