Broussard’s Restaurant is located in the heart of the French Quarter just steps away from famous Bourbon Street. Broussard’s is a historic restaurant with the charm of the turn of the century French Quarter buildings. The property consists of three separate dining rooms all overlooking our courtyard.
Their seating capacities are as follows: The Napoleon Room, 150 people; the Magnolia Room, 80 people; the Josephine Room, 50 people. Our courtyard has been noted as being one of the best in the city and it makes a lovely setting for wedding festivities. It can accommodate up to 150 people for a seated dinner and 200 or more people for a reception. We can accommodate larger groups with a combination of indoor and outdoor space.
In the Heart of the French Quarter, yet worlds away from the din of Bourbon Street, Broussard’s has long enjoyed a reputation for exceptional French Creole cuisine expertly served in an exquisite atmosphere. Broussard’s Owner/Chef Gunter Preuss has, for the past 40 years, built a reputation among American and International food critics as one of New Orleans’ premier interpreters of classic Creole cuisine.
Profiled in the PBS Series “Great Chefs of New Orleans” and a recent recipient of the Millennium chef International Award of Excellence as one of America’s “Top 100 Chefs”, Gunter - along with wife Evelyn and son Marc - have brought excitement and style back to 819 Conti Street.
Come join us in our unique courtyard, surrounded by classically beautiful dining rooms that were once used as the stables and slave quarters for the Historic Hermann-Grima House.
