Looking for a band that can do it all as well as give your function a taste of New Orleans flair? Look no more! Fleur de Lis is an exciting new 8 piece horn band formed by former members of the bands Burgundy and Benny Grunch.
The band is dedicated to music and to sharing their love of music with their audience by putting on high- energy shows guaranteed to appeal to all ages. Members of the band have backed up and or opened for numerous musical acts, from international favorites including Paul McCartney, the Righteous Brothers, and KC and the Sunshine band, to local New Orleans favorites Irma Thomas, Pete Fountain, Eddie Bo, and Oliver Morgan.
These musicians have performed at countless functions from weddings to Mardi Gras Krewes (Bacchus, Endymion, Caesar, Orpheus, and Thoth, to name a few), the Arena Bowl XXI, cruises (Commodore and Holland), casinos (including Boomtown, Treasure Chest, L'Auberge du Lac, and Bally's), Corporate functions, and fairs.
Fleur de Lis includes one female vocalist and four male vocalists, who have the range to do many different musical genres (R&B, Funk, Disco, Rock, Country, Dixieland, Jazz, Oldies, Standards, and Pop, to name a few). The rhythm section is incredibly tight and funky, and the horn section is kicking! Precise attention to detail and professional sound and light men help ensure that your function goes off without a hitch. We work closely with brides to ensure that your special day goes exactly as planned.
