Gomez-Duplessis worked as a makeup artist in New York in the Entertainment & Fashion industry and later moved to New Orleans to join the first MAC Cosmetics team in Saks that she adopted New Orleans. Gomez-Duplessis was the makeup artist for the current Mayor of New Orleans, Ray Nagin, and has worked with the former Mayor of New Orleans, Marc Morial, and his wife, news reporter on CBS news.
Gomez-Duplessis will be booking weddings full time in New Orleans starting Nov 1, 2006 and will continue to travel outside of New Orleans for any assignments.
