Scot R. Smith, and his studio, Smith Photographic Services, proudly celebrate twenty-five years of business since its inception in 1982.
Smith Photographic is truly a multi-faceted enterprise, providing services that range from cutting edge digitally enhanced photographic illustration, advertising illustration, commercial and industrial work, as well as timeless portraiture and classic, insightful wedding photography.
A consistent technology leader in his field, Scot was the first in our area to embrace electronic imaging, and continues to push the envelope with his digital artistry. Reaching creatively past the exposure to manipulate the image takes his work to the next level. His work frequently illustrates the covers of local magazines, billboards, and advertising campaigns, and he has developed a reputation of exceptional talent in taking an image from its conceptual beginnings to its final realization in print.
Scot is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a BFA in Photography, and has received his Craftsman, Master, and Master of Electronic Imaging degrees from Professional Photographers of America. He has shared his expertise over the years through his teaching and speaking. Smith is a consistent winner in the Shreveport/Bossier Advertising Federation's annual ADDY Awards competition.
