Located in historic Marblehead, the Hooper Mansion, home of the Marblehead Arts Association is within walking distance of four churches and two public parks overlooking picturesque Marblehead Harbor.
The entrance hall is dominated by a magnificent staircase leading to the main gallery or third floor ballroom with a Steinway piano and graceful wood and wire chandelier hanging from a domed recess and arched ceiling.
Other rooms of the mansion include a graceful parlor, dining room and charming wine cellar. In addition to monthly exhibits throughout the building, this gallery is often used as an entertainment venue for musicians, actors, poets and other artistic talent.
Our wine cellar is located in the basement connecting to the King Hooper Garden, maintained by the Cottage Gardeners of Marblehead.
Rental schedule is based on a seven hour time frame allowing for a four hour event, two hours for set up and one hour for breakdown. The mansion can accommodate up to 100 people.
