The hotel is located on the historic Charles River, "Just Outside The Square," minutes from Harvard Square. Also located nearby are several Universities including Boston University, Harvard University, Lesley University, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The hotel has brand new guest rooms that boast panoramic views of the Charles River, the Boston skyline and the city Cambridge.
The 16-story hotel offers 203 guestrooms, and 2,800 square feet of function space that can accommodate meetings for up to 250 people, and weddings/ celebrations fo rup to 160 people. Complimentary shuttle service is offered to and from Harvard Square, making it easy to access the subway. Making the hotel different than any other in the area, we have an onsite Experienced Specialist who hosts themed events every weekday.
The hotel lobby has a distinctively unusual combination of textures and innovative design. The centerpiece of the lobby is a three-story monumental staircase of angular stainless steel, sculpted aluminum and tempered glass rising from a cultured stone floor. The surrounding public space is appointed with weathered brick, highly polished cherry wood, contemporary local art; leather bound books and lush foliage.
Other guest facilities and services include the Great Room Restaurant, serving breakfast that features made-to-order omelets and an extensive buffet. Opening in the Winter 2008, Bisuteki Japanese Steak House will rejoin the hotel. With over 25 years experience serving Greater Boston, Bisuteki prepares four course meals right at your table.
Meeting the needs of the traveler, the Courtyard Marriott includes a business library, a 24 hour grab-and-go Marketplace, an indoor swimming pool with a sundeck, exercise room, and guest laundry.
