E.C.S. is a funk, soul, and R&B ensemble based out of Boston, MA that specializes in wedding, function, and club gigs all over New England and the Northeast. Members of East Coast Soul blend their musical influences of funk, jazz, R&B, rock, and gospel to perform the classic hits as well as modern songs to transform any celebration into a dance party. They also combine their backgrounds in creating original material, rejuvenating their timeless influences in modern compositions.
This young group of musicians brings high-energy to each performance while incorporating their own elements of improvisation and vocal prowess. All of the band members have extensive musical training and have performed on stages and venues across the country. Our members teach music at institutes of higher learning, have won national vocal competitions, perform with top names in everything from Gospel to Country, and now combine to create the unique musical force known as East Coast Soul.
With a passion for music, the band is constantly building its repertoire and willing to adapt musically for any occasion. Driven by their collective creativity and enthusiasm, the band members continue to create original material while re-creating the songs that are essential for any celebration.
