I began my career not as a photographer but as a biologist / ecologist and educator, using photography as a means to explore the natural world and our relationship to this world.
As I pursued my photographic interest, I began doing assignment work, creative portraiture, editorial, and expanding and exhibiting my personal work. Over the past twenty years, I have worked at the craft of creating images that hopefully convey the essential elements of the moment, in the most beautiful, emotional, and visually compelling way possible.
The last twelve years I have been using photographic vision at the celebration of marriage. Here I continually strive to make sure that your photographs fully capture the the emotion that your special day deserves.
