Educated at the Zurich Conservatory of Music in her native Switzerland, Sylvia LaPratt is a talented and accomplished harpist. She studied with the principal harpist of the Opera Paris, France. A joy to work with, Sylvia honors Swiss values of dedication and quality.
Sylvia was guest harpist in many Swiss orchestras and has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in Europe as well as in the United States.
Since moving to the US in 2006, Sylvia enjoys playing the harp at wedding ceremonies and receptions and would like to make your day a little bit more special.
Starting her graduate studies towards a Masters in Vocal Performance this fall 2008, Sylvia also loves to sing and is able to accompany herself on the harp.
