I am Fr. Randolph A. (Randy) Brown, and I am a life-long Midwesterner. I was born and raised in Chicago and have lived in Minnesota all of my adult life. I'm 51 years old, married to my wife of 13 years, Billie, and am the proud father of my Wire Haired Fox Terrier, "Annie". Together we make their home in suburban Minneapolis.
I was ordained a priest October 4, 1985, the feast of St. Francis of Assisi. My ministry since then has been primarily as a pastor and spiritual director. I have also have experience in leading directed retreats. Prior to ordination, I had been a Life-Professed member of a small Ecumenical Franciscan Religious Order.
I now also perform wedding ceremonies in a wide variety of settings. I have performed wedding ceremonies in such varied locations as Minnehaha Falls, along the Superior lakeshore, at the Headwaters of the Mississippi, in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, as well as in banquet halls, hotels, public parks, boats and private homes throughout Minnesota. I can also make suggestions and help arrange for a site for your wedding, if this is a need.
As your wedding officiant, my job is to support you on your special day. It is a privilege to provide this service and I will strive to make it the wedding day of your dreams. My experience will help to put you at ease and give you time to do the most important thing -- enjoy this most special of days!

In general, the fee for a Minneapolis-St Paul Metro area wedding will range from $200 (midweek) to $250 (weekends). If you wish for me to participate in a Rehearsal there is an additional fee of $75. Outside of the Metro, will vary based upon day, date and distance, but is usually between $250 and $350. |
