On photographing weddings: I've always been very curious about the human condition, our rituals, and relationships. When I began photographing as a student in the early 90's, the camera was like a visa that granted access into different worlds. I've always loved the commonality of human lives and at the same times those things that make us unique and specific in the world.
While my photographs fit into a documentary style that incorporates portraiture, I think my photos also reflect an intimate quality that dignifies your wedding as an important story.
