Founded in 2005 by its present owner and manager, Scott Roth, Good Times begins its journey with a commitment to excellence.
Good Times has been several years in the making. In 1999, Roth was a marketing cadet for Capitol Records. His duties were organizing events, dealing with DJ’s, and promoting the Capitol roster.
In 2000, Roth went on to work for S.T.A.R.S. Productions, the agency behind many of the tri-state area’s top performing wedding and nightclub bands. It’s roster includes Dog Voices, Big Orange Cone, The Benjamin’s, and Roth’s personal favorite The Nerds.
Roth was such a fan of The Nerds, he started working with them exclusively, handling promotions. Before long, Roth was their full time road manager. During his term, The Nerds did many top of the line events: the Scott and Todd Morning Show (w/Hootie & The Blowfish, Train, and the Go Go’s), Ron and Fez, Opie & Anthony’s Summer Bash (w/ Duane Allman), the Quick Check Balloon Festival and more. During this time, The Nerds also did over 200 weddings and corporate events.
In 2003, Roth changed gears and went to work in the Novelty / Interactive field, covering events for many of the tri-state areas top entertainment agencies. He has since been on a hundred more weddings and corporate events, as well as bar / bat mitzvahs, college events, sweet 16’s, surprise parties, and more.
Scott Roth’s, and his accompanying staff’s wide variety of experiences in the entertainment events world, is what sets Good Times Entertainment apart from the others in the field.
