Dave Adornato, a professional photographer based in Verona, NJ, has 15 years of professional newspaper experience as a photographer as well as a B.A. in Journalism from Saint Michael's College in Vermont.

Traveling the country covering events including the MLB World Series, the plight of Mohawk's in Northern New York, a look into the lives of dairy farmers and their families in Vermont, as well as time on the Chesapeake Bay in 19th century schooner with at-risk youths.
As a photo editor, he has directed the photography for numerous special reports for the Record (Bergen County, NJ) including its award-winning coverage of 9/11 which also garnered a Pulitzer Prize nomination for the famous fire fighters raising the American Flag over Ground Zero photograph.
He has worked as a contributing photographer to The New York Times as well as The Star Ledger.
He has been a staff photographer for The Record (Bergen Co., NJ), and Herald News.
As a photo editor for The Record and Herald News, he is in charge of the daily operation of the photo department which includes supervising 12 award winning staff photographers.
