My name is Desiree Miller and I have lived in Southern NJ my entire life.

Prior to Back Woods Photography, my aspiration was to be a Pediatric Nurse. I enjoy kids so immensely and wanted to base my entire career around working with them.

During my time in college, taking prerequisites for my RN, I began a Photography class.

It was then that I discovered where my true passion lay.

After many months of Photographer by day and college student by night, I finally let go of my dream to become a Nurse.

I decided to take on this new venture full force, thus Back Woods Photography was born.

Getting started was the easy part, but keeping it a thriving success is what I credit to my clients and family. Thanks to their love and support, and not to mention wonderful referrals, I wouldn't be as happy as I am today! Thank you for letting me have FUN with you and your children.
