Scratch DJ Academy is the world’s leader in DJ and Music Production education. Founded by the legendary Jam Master Jay of Run- DMC, Scratch provides education and access to the art form of the DJ and producer.
Scratch hosts numerous corporate and private events at its studios on Sixth Avenue in Manhattan. Each event offers a unique and unparalleled music experience where attendees can experience what it’s like to be real DJ’s. Scratch has over 40 sets of turntables, a roster of celebrity DJ instructors, copyrighted curriculum, and more, all designed to create an authentic music experience you won’t find anywhere else.
A typical event at Scratch features an instructional DJ workshop and an after party with live DJ entertainment. The exact format of each event can be tailored for each client, and our team works closely with you to ensure all your specific event needs are met. Scratch events have ranged in size from 5 to 100 people, and food, beverage and/ or catering services are available upon request.
Scratch has executed numerous special event workshops for clients like Google, Pepsi, People Magazine, Redken 5th Ave., Yahoo, Credit Suisse, the Economist, USA Today, and more.
