The Museum hosts dozens of special events each year; some to celebrate special occasions, such as the Kids New Year's Eve Party and Howl-o-Ween, and others just for the fun of it, like ShamROCK and Winter Party with the Animals. The Education Department plans and organizes large scale activities in support of Biodiversity and Chemistry, just to name a few, and the Astronomy Department shares the vast concepts of the Universe during Astronomy Day and special Friday night star gazing events.
