ROUX is an upscale-casual, full service French-Creole restaurant & caterer located in Portland's charming Overlook neighborhood.
Dinner is served seven nights a week, with brunch on Sunday mornings.
We offer a "Service First" dining experience with a well trained and professional team of cooks, waiters, bartenders and host staff.
Our Dining Room is evocative of the great restaurants of New Orleans, located in a recently renovated textile factory. Amenities and equipment are modern, but the space is warm & romantic- featuring intimate lighting, jazz music, dark and rich woods and fabrics, as well as crisp white linen. We offer seating for up to (120), as well as sidewalk Cafe seating for (36).
We have three distinct areas in the restaurant: Bar / Main Dining (featuring eight booths), family Dining with room for (30), and our Private Dining Room which seats (40).
ROUX is available for lunch and dinner events, with limited full buyouts available each year (addressed on a first come basis).
ROUX had been featured in Bon Apetit, Food + Wine, "O" magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, and is considered one of Portland's premiere destination restaurants.
