Fort Adams is a National Historic Landmark located on Narragansett Bay. Site rentals are available from mid-May through October. Outdoor lawns and historic interior event spaces are available to accomodate 20 to 500 plus guests. An ideal site for any type of event including team building activities, musical and theatrical performances and fundraising events.
The North Lawn is the most popular location with magnificent views of the Narragansett Bay, Newport Harbor and Newport Bridge. The sunsets are gorgeous. The lighted Fort walls provide a dramatic backdrop for any tented event.
The Parade Field is a 6 acre lawn within the perimeter of the Fort walls. The 19th century architecture is unique and interesting.
The North Casemates, our interior event space has three vaulted chambers with arched, brick ceilings and granite walls. The framed water views through the embrasure window openings are beautiful.
Fort Adams is easily accessible from downtown Newport by land or water. Parking close to your event location is available.
